OKAY FIRST LET ME JUST TELL YOU THAT THIS DOESNT APPLY TO ANYONE IN PARTICULAR, THIS IS JUST ME, AN 18 YEAR OLD FEMALE, WHO JUST WANT TO LET HER FEELINGS OUT.
Why why why why why do people always have this thought on their heads:
Science students are better than Art students.
Situation: Person: What are you guys taking in college?
A: Oh, I'm taking Pharmacy Knowledge.
Person: Oh that is lovely! You will do amazing in life! You will make your parents proud!
B: I'm taking Creative Arts.
Person: Are you sure? You won't get far in life with that.
God, don't even let me start.
Firstly, why is it when people are smart in Science and Math, people will say that they are smart and they should continue on doing what they love (which in this case is Science) and tell them how awesome they are but when someone is good in stuff like dancing or singing or playing musical instruments they will go like,
"Oh, that's great! But how about Science? You need to learn more about Science."
Hi, um okay, why do you go around telling people who are good in Arts or Sports or Writing to learn better in Science, to know things about Science when you don't tell the people who are smart in Science to learn how to draw, how to play sports.
Listen, my point is, everyone is smart and wonderful in their own ways, everyone is great in their own damn self, with their own damn talents.
If you like cutting a frog and learning its insides, good for you! You go do what you love! You are amazing!
If you like soccer, good for you! You are also amazing!
If you like performing, good for you! You have the confidence I wished I had! You're great!
No matter what you're good at, never ever look down on someone else. Everyone is beautiful and smart and great and wonderful and magnificent in their own way.
